The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNNCI)     
The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI)
FNCCI is an umbrella organization of the Nepalese private sector and plays a key role in promoting business and industry to advance socio-economic development in the country. It provides information, consultative, promotional and representative services to businesses and the government, as well as organizing workshops and seminars on a regular basis. Mr. Govind Dev Pandey, as Executive Director of the Small & Medium Enterprise Development Project at FNCCI, will represent the FNCCI as a Director on LBSC’s Board.

Association of District Development Committees of Nepal (ADDCN)     
Association of District Development Committees of Nepal (ADDCN)
ADDCN was founded by the DDCs in 1995 as a representative, collective institution of all seventy-five districts. Each member DDC is represented on the Kathmandu-based ADDCN council, which functions as the sovereign body. The organization’s mission is to empower local authorities through the appropriate devolution of authority according to the true spirit of decentralization, so that they can effectively respond to popular needs for public service delivery. Mr. Murari Prasad Upadhyay, as Executive Secretary General (Acting) of ADDCN, will represent ADDCN as a Director on LBSC’s Board

Mountain Resources Management Group (MRMG)     
Mountain Resources Management Group (MRMG)
MRMG is an NGO which works for the sustainable development of the poorest of the poor among the rural communities in Nepal. MRMG applies a participatory approach which emphasizes the use of local technology and indigenous resources for the purpose of income generation. It also facilitates the communities to build linkages with line agencies in order to generate synergetic impact on the communities. Mr. Duman Thapa, President / Executive Director of MRMG, will represent MRMG as a Director on LBSC’s Board.

Mr. Kamal Banskota, Programme Manager, ICIMOD     
Mr. Kamal Banskota, Programme Manager, ICIMOD
Mr. Kamal Banskota currently manages the Agricultural and Rural Income Diversification Programme of the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD). He holds a Ph.D. in Natural Resource and Production Economics from the University of Alberta, Canada, and a Master’s Degree in Economics from the University of the Philippines. He has held team leader and economist positions addressing rural development issues with several international institutions, including the Asian Development Bank, GTZ, Danida, and DFID among others. In addition, he is the author of several national and international publications.
